Equipment Specification and Procurement

Utilizing a strong global Supply Chain and highly experienced Procurement team, PPC will procure and coordinate delivery for long lead time items that can become a hindrance on large projects, ensuring on-time and under budget delivery.

By building strategic alliances with industry leading suppliers the PPC Procurement Team can service projects of any size or scale ensuring an on-time and under budget performance while maintaining the company's highest standard of quality.

Installation

PPC offers everything from complete Turnkey Photovoltaic solutions to electrical subcontracting installation.  Our focus is primarily utility scale ground mount systems, but also have extensive experience in large scale rooftop applications.  With over 800 MW of currently operating installations, there is no doubt PPC is a top-quality choice.

Operations & Maintenance

Every PV project requires professional management to operate and maintain installations.  With over 500 MW of installations serviced and maintained to date, Pure Power Contractors is the best choice for Asset Management.  We have dedicated crews with years of experience from preventative maintenance to complete project rebuilds.  We have helped our clients rebuild complete sites due to catastrophic hurricane damage, hail, and flooding with sterling results.

PPC offers an array of asset management, commissioning, operations & maintenance, and design services to assist with any utility scale project.

Justin Taylor

President

JUSTIN TAYLOR, President, is responsible for the day to day operations of the company. Justin’s core emphasis is on business development, estimating, design and implementation. His project resume includes over 800 MWs of utility scale, roof top and residential projects. With this wealth of Solar PV experience, Justin has established himself as one of the most trusted and respected experts in the business.

Prior to Pure Power, Justin was the Director of Solar Operations for the largest Solar EPC in the Southeast. During his tenure, he helped grow the company ten-fold in annual revenues with projects in nine different states. Justin also worked as Project Manager where he designed, managed and installed multiple PV projects ranging from residential roof tops to R&D sites for major utilities.

Justin is a Marine Corps veteran, NABCEP certified PV installer, holds multiple Master Electrician licenses and is an Unlimited Licensed General Contractor. He has Advanced PV Design and Installation training and is also certified in CPR/AED, First Aid, and OSHA 10-hr training.

Justin Coffey

CFO

JUSTIN COFFEY, CFO, joined Pure Power in 2015. With more than 15 years of development, construction and asset management experience, Justin’s primary role is to effectively manage all financial and accounting operations for the company. His diverse resume includes projects in utility scale solar, office / industrial, retail, medical office, multi-family, student housing and hotels. He also has been involved in multiple historic and investment tax credit deals.

Before joining Pure Power, Justin was the Controller / Partner of a privately held real estate development and management company. During his tenure, he was involved in developing over $250 million in new assets and acquiring over $50 million in operating assets. In addition, Justin was a Senior Accountant for a large real estate developer with a portfolio of over 6 million square feet of commercial, retail and medical space. Earlier in his career, Justin was the lead Development Accountant for a Top 10 national Real Estate Developer, where he managed over $300 million worth of development and construction.

Justin is a graduate of Marshall University’s esteemed Lewis College of Business and holds a real estate brokerage license in North Carolina.

Kirk Kieffer

VP of Operations

KIRK KIEFFER, COO, Kirk has over 15 years of construction and project management experience, having spent the past 10 years focused solely on PV solar development and construction in all aspects of both the C&I and utility-scale sector. At Pure Power, Kirk oversees operations and helps support the business development team.

Prior to joining Pure Power, Kirk spent 5 years building and leading a large national EPC that built over 100 large scale utility projects totaling over 2.4 GW of interconnected solar PV projects, including both distribution and transmission projects, as well as some battery storage. Previously, Kirk worked at a utility-scale developer and C&I EPC building rooftop solar, carports, and parking canopies throughout the Southeastern US.

Kirk received his B.S. from Dickinson College and his MBA from the University of Florida Warrington School of Business. Kirk is also a licensed General Contractor in multiple states.

Vincent Zarallo

Senior Project Manager

VINCENT ZARALLO, Senior Construction Manager, joined Pure Power in April of 2016. Vince’s responsibilities include the planning, organizing, monitoring and execution of our projects. Regarded as a “veteran” in the renewable energy industry, Vince has spent the last 14 years consulting, constructing and installing over 300 megawatts of solar in the US, Canada and Europe. These projects include everything from residential rooftops to large utility scale.

Prior to solar, Vincent spent his entire career in the construction industry. Starting from a day laborer at his father’s general contracting company to becoming an owner of his own company, Vince has the knowledge and experience it takes to manage a successful company.

Blair Eudy

Pre-Construction Manager

BLAIR EUDY, Pre-Construction Manager, Beginning his career early in the PV industry, Blair has worked closely with President Justin Taylor for over ten years.  From field labor to estimating lead and everything in between, Blair has constructed and serviced over 500 MW of PV installations.  With a quick ability to adapt to a changing industry landscape, Blair has ascended to the role of Project Controls Director and with that has become a lynchpin of executing successful utility-scale projects. 

As Pre-Construction Manager, Blair is responsible for ensuring all materials, staff, and equipment are available exactly when needed and used as efficiently as possible.  Providing support to the Project Management and Construction teams, as well as building and maintaining relationships with our valued clientele, Blair bridges the gap between all departments of our growing team.

Blair is a graduate of the Eudy School of Management and has been a long-time resident of Mint Hill, NC.

Matthew Dickey

Director of Project Management

MATTHEW DICKEY, Director of Project Management, Matthew has over 15 years of experience in the renewables and energy efficiency industries and oversees all project management functions of the company. He has a strong program and project management background in sustainability, renewable energy, solar thermal, energy management, and energy efficiency.

Prior to joining Pure Power, Matthew was the technical manager for a utility-scale PV developer, working on greenfield development across the country. Matthew holds a B.S. in Technology Education and a minor in Graphic Communications from North Carolina State University.
